Disadventure tries to splice non-linear shotcut based layout with a sense of randomization in the events. During which, after escaping the initial room, the player must escape an entire castle. Following the design principles of Dark Souls and other FromSoftware games, we directed gameplay reminiscent of Resident Evil (8) and the base game Bunker. The world was built with realistic geometry in mind, the separate levels don't collide in real time and space, and are situated exactly where they should be.

While the mod didn't score a podium place in the lineup (which was tougher than ever before), the Frictional Games dev team provided the following feedback on the project (shared by community manager Oskar Larsson):
